Here are the important dates to remember in terms of the offseason action in baseball:

Nov. TBA: Team and player options must be decided three days after the end of the World Series.

Nov. TBA: Free agency starts five days after end of World Series

Nov. 16-17: GM meetings in Orlando, Fla.

Nov. 23: Final day to offer arbitration to former players who became free agents

Nov. 30: Final day for free agents to accept arbitration

Dec. 1: Last day to offer contracts to unsigned players (non-tender deadline)

Dec. 6-9: Winter meetings in Orlando, Fla.

Jan. 5-15: Salary arbitration filing

Jan. 18: Salary arbitration figures exchanged

Feb. 1: Start of arbitration hearings
