Fight for Liverpool continues

The latest on John Henry's pursuit of Liverpool FC:
Team owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett (who, from what I can tell, may be the two most unpopular men in England) withdrew their restraining order today. But they are apparently trying to raise money through the Mill Financial hedge fund to pay off the loans due today and retain control of the team.
Henry, meanwhile, has a deal with the team's independent board of directors. He took a combative tone on Twitter this morning:
"We have a binding contract. Will fight Mill Hicks Gillett attempt to keep club today. Their last desperate attempt to entrench their regime."
At some point, presumably, this has to be settled. We'll keep you posted.
