The Red Sox' Single A affiliate Greenville lost 6-1 against Lakewood in Game 2 of the South Atlantic League championship series

The best-of-five series is tied 1-1 with the three remaining games at Lakewood starting on Thursaday.

The game was delayed by a benches-clearing brawl in the fourth inning when Greenville’s Derrik Gibson pushed Lakewood catcher Sebastian Vale. It was a clean play by Gibson, then words were exchanged and it was go time.

Jeremy Hazelbaker homered for Greenville.
