This will be the first spring start for John Lackey, who has kept a fairly low profile in camp thus far. Lackey is expected to throw two innings and about 30 to 35 pitches ... UPDATE, 11:54 a.m.: The Sox added OF Bubba Bell, C Dan Butler, LHPs Andrew Dobies and Kyle Fernandes, OFs Brett Harper and Daniel Nava and INF Oscar Tejada to the team in Port Charlotte.
UPDATE, 12:39 p.m.: The Rays are using what could well be their Opening Day lineup. Good challenge for 22-year-old Felix Doubront, who was the pitcher of the year for Portland last season.
