The PawSox had nine hits by nine different people. Chris Carter went 1 for 4 with a double, a run, and two RBI. Charlie Zink allowed two runs in six innings on two hits and three walks while striking out four. Billy Traber, Marcus McBeth, and Fernando Cabrera each pitched a scoreless, hitless of relief.

PORTLAND 5, New Britain 4, Game 1, seven innings
First baseman Lars Anderson went 2 for 4 with two solo home runs. Third baseman Jorge Jimenez went 3 for 4 with a double and raised his average to .354. Shortstop Argenis Diaz went 1 for 4 with a double, a run, and two RBI. Centerfielder Ryan Kalish went 1 for 3 with a triple and a walk.

New Britain 4, PORTLAND 1, Game 2, seven innings
Leftfielder Aaron Bates went 1 for 3 with a double and a run. Jimenez went 1 for 3 with an RBI.

SALEM 12, Winston-Salem 3
Centerfielder Che-Hsuan Lin went 2 for 4 with two runs, a home run, and five RBI. Leftfielder Jason Place went 2 for 4 with a walk, three runs, a double, and two RBI. Catcher Luis Exposito went 2 for 4 with a walk, a run, and an RBI. Designated hitter Jered Stanley went 2 for 3 with a run and two walks.

Shortstop Oscar Tejada went 2 for 4 with a double. Third baseman Michael Alamanzar went 0 for 4, lowering his average to .228.
