FORT MYERS, Fla. -- After a short batch of drills to start the morning, the Red Sox have jumped into another session of live batting practice, with action on four of the the five fields here at the player development complex.

Among the notable tossers were Josh Beckett and Jon Lester. Beckett initially threw to a trio that featured Brad Wilkerson, Kevin Youkilis, and J.D. Drew. From behind the cage, general manager Theo Epstein observed the session.

As he did yesterday, Drew did not offer a swing during one stint against Beckett, but Wilkerson and Youkilis made solid contact with Beckett throwing quality heat.

In the bullpen, Brad Penny highlighted a group of pitchers throwing side sessions, including Devern Hansack, Michael Bowden, and Clay Buchholz. John Smoltz observed some of the tossing alongside members of the coaching staff.

Check out the video above to see Beckett, Lester, and Penny throwing pitches and Youkilis take a cut against Beckett in the cage.
