It was hard to tell what the expectations should have been for Clay Buchholz going into this season. His young career was filled with ups and downs, with mental breakdowns and excellent pitching, with mound blowups and crucial performances. And then he pitched with such impressive consistency this year that he finished with a 17-7 record and 2.33 ERA. (Full article: 1166 words)
