Selected Sox tickets go on sale next weekend
Christmas at Fenway event kicks off 2005 ticket sales
If youre looking for a perfect stocking stuffer for a friend or family member, you might want to wander over to Fenway Park next weekend.
The Red Sox will host Christmas at Fenway for the second straight year at Fenway on Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12. This will be fans first opportunity to buy tickets to see the 2005 Sox. The event begins at 9 a.m. on both days, and fans can enter the park through Gate D. About 3,000 fans will be accommodated each day. Red Sox personalities will be on hand as well.
Among the tickets available next weekend are selected Sox Pax (each pack includes tickets to four selected games) and single-game tickets to 16 selected games in April and May. Fans may purchase up to eight single-game tickets, a maximum of four per game.
These tickets will also be available online at www.redsox.com or by calling (617) 482-4SOX beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 11. Fans with disabilities may call (877) RED-SOX9, also beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 11, to purchase accessible seating while supplies last. The Red Sox TTY number for hearing-impaired fans is (617) 226-6644.
Among the games available in the Sox Pax available next weekend are: Opening Day (April 11 vs. the Yankees), selected other Yankees games, some interleague games against the Reds and Pirates, as well as assorted weekend contests throughout the season.
The 16 selected single-season games the Sox are making available are as follows: April 15-17 vs. Tampa Bay; April 19 vs. Toronto; April 25-27 vs. Baltimore; May 6-8 vs. Seattle; May 9-11 vs. Oakland and May 30-June 1 vs. Baltimore.
