Who should be manager of the year?

The manager of the year debate in the American League has come down to two choices – Boston’s John Farrell and Cleveland’s Terry Francona.

Here’s the case for each:

Farrell: Turned the Red Sox from a 69-win, last-place team into American League East champions.

Francona: Has the Indians nearly 20 victories better than last season (68-94 in 2012, 86-70 before Tuesday’s game) and hanging tough in the race for a playoff spot.
