All is right again with the Dodgers' Green

Shawn Green is back in right field and happy to be there.

Green, a right fielder his entire career, had been working out at first base all spring for the Los Angeles Dodgers until manager Jim Tracy said Monday the two-time All-Star would return to his original position.

Green played right yesterday for the first time this spring in an exhibition vs. Atlanta that eventually was canceled because of rain.

Reyes injured

Mets second baseman Jose Reyes might miss the opener after injuring his right hamstring. Reyes was hurt while stealing a base during a game Sunday . . . Reliever Rod Beck has left the San Diego Padres with undisclosed personal problems . . . Hall of Fame Orioles pitcher Jim Palmer said on a radio program Sunday that he has questions about Brady Anderson's 50 homers for Baltimore in 1996 -- specifically whether Anderson used steriods . . . Chicago Cubs pitcher Mark Prior, sidelined by an inflamed right Achilles' tendon, threw from a mound for the first time in two weeks. He had no discomfort in throwing 25 to 30 pitches, general manager Jim Hendry said.
