UFC president Dana White has strong ties to Boston, and the news of the bombings at the Boston Marathon troubled him deeply.

“From a guy who’s walked those streets and been there at the finish line so many times, it really freaked me out,” said White. “It still freaks me out. I have a hard time talking about it.”

White will bring UFC to TD Garden in August in what he says will be the best free television card he has ever done.
