Blizzard-like conditions are expected in the southeast part of the state Tuesday night into Wednesday and arctic temperatures will grip much of the coastal area as another winter storm passes through the region, forecasters said. Snowfall is expected to be the heaviest along the southern coastline, bringing 8 to 12 inches of snow and a blizzard watch to Cape Cod and coastal Plymouth areas, according to National Weather Service Meteorologist Stephanie Dunten. A winter warning has been issued for eastern Massachusetts. “For the Boston area, we’re looking at 6 to 10 inches,” said Dunten. The amount of snowfall could change as the storm continues to form and its path becomes clearer, she said.
