US Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Michael D. Jones, 43, of Unity, Maine
"It was very nice to see that little screen pop up. It was roughly every couple of days. Usually he would say, 'Hi, are you there?' his wife Lori recalled. "He couldn't wait to come home and do normal things with his family. When he was over there, he realized what he had and what he was missing back here. That was one of the hardest things for me when he died. Our kids were older so we were going to be able to do things we weren't able to do before. We were going to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We were going on a cruise at the end of April. It was all booked."
