US Army Specialist Christopher L. Hoskins, 21, of Danielson, Conn.
"The very last conversation I ever had with him, he was actually just starting to be comfortable enough to tell us how bad it was over there," Hoskins sister recalled. "We talked a lot about what was going on with that, how there was a lot of men that were dying and how he wasn't getting really attached to any specific group of guys because they were dying. He was really shaken up about it. You could hear it in the sound of his voice. The last time Chris was home was New Year's Day. It was the last time we were together as a family."
