It may have all started with a man in a barn jacket in Massachusetts, but the comeback of the Republican Party picked up pace from there. Energized by both the election of Republican Scott Brown to the late Edward Kennedy's former Senate seat and the Tea Party movement, Republicans picked up enough US House seats during the 2010 midterm elections to gain the majority.
