What happens when you pair off good-looking strangers in front of a camera and ask them to kiss for the first time?

Sparks. Apparently.

Director Tatia Pilieva put 20 strangers, two at a time, in front of her lens and asked them to lock lips. She titled the quick clip "First Kiss." The result is pretty steamy and quickly went viral, racking up more than 10 million views on YouTube so far.

The concept is real. The chemistry... maaaaaaybe not so much.

The video was actually made for fashion brand Wren's Fall 2014 campaign. The line-up mostly features somewhat famous folks you might know if you put a name to a face -- like, OK Go lead singer Damian Kulash, model Natalia Bonifacci, and "All My Children" actress Jill Larson -- or Slate's Amanda Hess points out: "professional performers who are experienced in acting out love, sex, and intimacy for crowds."

So, it was essentially a glorified commercial. The "strangers" are primarily genetically-gifted professionals. But does that make it any less romantic? Let's discuss below.
