Spring is certainly not here yet, but today will be the next best thing, according to forecasters.
With an expected high of 50 degrees in the Boston area, most of us won't be complaining even with the rain, which is largely expected to end as this morning comes to a close.
But apparently showers could linger while the sun jockeys for position to help warm us all up.

Forecasters are also expecting some strong winds today, but would you rather feel icy blasts or balmy -- albeit wet -- gusts of wind?

However, there will likely be some sunshine in between the winds that could reach up to 35 miles per hour.
Light showers now becoming widely scattered this afternoon w/ sunshine. Main issue will be gusty w/sw winds @ 30-35 mph. #windy— NWS Boston (@NWSBoston) March 15, 2014
Either way, today's weather will apparently be short-lived, so even in the rain it's probably worth getting some fresh, warmer air today ahead of our next storm on Monday.
