Celebrating Pi Day (3/14) today? Well, at least one math nerd thinks you’re a total poseur.

Khan Academy teacher Vi Hart posted this YouTube video on her blog Friday morning, declaring herself the “Grinch” of the numerical holiday.

“I don't know why anyone would make a fuss about the grand infinities and forevers of a boring little number like Pi...Pi is not special.”

This isn’t the first time Hart has railed against the celebration - she posted this video bashing the tradition in 2011.

Meanwhile, MIT will hold a less critical ode to the brainy festival, announcing accepted applicants to the class of 2018 and holding pie-positive events on-campus.

New students will learn their fate at precisely 6:28 p.m., as a nod to "Tau Time," a number twice the value of pi.

The holiday, a play on pi's first three digits, was first observed by San Francisco physicist Larry Shaw in 1988.
