There's a new mayor in the town of Lawrence. And he's cracking down on the fashion choices at the town's city hall. Mayor Daniel Rivera issued a dress code for city hall, banning various clothing items in a bid to change the city's image.

Here's what is banned in city hall:

1. T-shirts

2. Jeans

3. Sweats

4. Bib overalls

5. Bermuda shorts

6. Spandex

7. Pajamas

Rivera also requested ‘‘all males working in an office environment’’ wear ties.

There was no indication from Rivera on what the penalty would be for violators.
