In an effort to regain its consumer base and bolster its flat-lining sales, Olive Garden is willing to pick up the babysitting tab for couples who spend their date night eating at one of their restaurants.

The chain Italian-inspired food spot has teamed up with various MyGym centers across the country to offer drop-off child care on Friday, Feb. 7. Parents are required to leave a deposit at the participating center, but will get it back when they show their Olive Garden dinner bill.
The restaurant is also inviting parents to share their date-night photos and stories on social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter using #OGParentsNightOut.
What do you think? Is the free babysitting offer a good idea?
