Danvers schools closed during homicide probe

DANVERS, Mass. (AP) — All public schools in Danvers have been closed because of an ongoing homicide investigation.

The Essex district attorney’s office said the town’s schools are to remain closed Wednesday.

No details about the homicide investigation were immediately available.

Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett has scheduled a news conference for later in the morning.

Danvers has five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school.
