R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested and charged with felony assault in Washington D.C. this morning, according to CBS.

Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, were allegedly involved in a physical altercation with an unidentified man around 4:30 a.m. in front of the W Hotel, according to police. The condition of the man was not disclosed, but police told CBS "he's alive."

The singer is serving five years probation after pleading guilty in 2009 to attacking Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time, the night before the Grammy awards. This isn't the first time Brown has jeopardized his probation.

In the past year, Brown has been accused by the district attorney's office of not completing his mandatory community service, as well as a misdemeanor hit-and-run.
