In the latest instance of school bus bullying gone wrong, video footage from early July of a group of Florida teens raining down fists on a helpless student is making its rounds online.
The focus this time, though, is not on the students who are seen throwing punches and stomping the victim. Instead, all eyes are on the bus driver, and whether or not he did enough to stop the fight.
The driver, a 64-year-old man, can be seen and heard to no avail urging other students witnessing the beatdown to intervene.
In an interview with CNN, the driver said he followed school protocol by calling for help.
"Me jumping in the middle of that fight with three boys, it would have been more dangerous for other students on the bus for as myself," he said. "There's just no telling what might have happened."
The driver, who coincidentally was working his final day after 18 years on the job, will not
face any charges.
Who is to blame for that fateful day last month?
