Alec Courous almost had a scary moment at the New England Aquarium yesterday when his daughter's pink stuffed elephant fell into the Giant Ocean Tank.

A diver, Chris, posted the full story on the Aquarium's "Giant Ocean Tank Divers and Expeditions Blog," saying that he, "heard a faint 'Diver guy?' come from behind the glass wall at the top." Chris then swam over, picked up the elephant, and tossed it to a volunteer on the platform, causing applause from the crowd and this commemoration of the moment on Twitter.

There was also a friendly exchange between Couros and the Aquarium on Twitter following the rescue.
