Guatemalan students sing 'Sweet Caroline' to Secretary of State Kerry

US Secretary of State John Kerry got an unexpected surprise during his visit to Antigua, Guatemala, this week when young students sang "Sweet Caroline," the Neil Diamond song played at Boston Red Sox games. This song has become a tribute to support the city in the wake of the Marathon bombings.

The students were at Casa Herrera - a new research, conference, and teaching facility operated by the University of Texas at Austin. Casa Herrera hosts an English Access Microscholarship Program.

The grateful students surprised Kerry, who is the former US Senator from Massachusetts, when they began singing together. See the video below.
