With Valentine's Day around the corner, you may consider springing for a beer bath in the western Czechoslovakian village of Chodova Plana. For $33, you can get a 20 minute soak in a tub of herbs, mineral water, and dark beer prepared by a nurse specializing in beer therapy.

More than just an alternative to hitting the bars, the beer soak, like other baths, is rejuvenating and relaxing. The minerals in the water combined with the bubbles of the beer penetrate the skin. It's good for the hair, nails, exfoliation of the skin, and blood circulation.

Though there is no scientific proof, clients swear by the microbrew soaks with ten thousand people visiting the spa annually... Did we mention that free pints are served with the baths?
