Former President George W. Bush returned to the White House on Thursday for the unveiling of his and Laura Bush's portraits.

He brought a sense of humor to his remarks at the unveiling ceremony, joking President Obama could reflect on his picture when making big decisions and ask, "what would George do?"

"Thanks so much for inviting our rowdy friends to my hanging," Bush said to laughter. He then praised his wife, Laura, his mother, Barbara, and above all his father, former President George H.W. Bush, who attended the ceremony in a wheelchair.
