Add George Weber to the list of Patrick administration officials moving on. The Division of Professional Licensure director will not be returning for Governor Deval Patrick’s second term. “We are thankful for Mr. Weber’s service to the agency,’’ Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs Barbara Anthony said in a statement. “At this time, we are seeking new leadership and direction at the Division of Professional Licensure.’’ The division oversees 31 boards of registration, which license and regulate nearly 50 trades and professions. Weber is a former assistant attorney general who has been with the division since 1999, first as chief prosecutor and then as general counsel.
