Strict I.D. requirements
Adult passengers (18 and above) need to provide authentic identity proof in order to be allowed to go through the checkpoint and onto their flight. Post 9/11, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has barred people from entering the airport's waiting premises without flight tickets and I.D. cards. Documents like US passport, DHS-designated enhanced driver's license, drivers licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles or a foreign government-issued passport are necessities at the airport gates.
