TROY, Vt.—Vermont State Police say a 24-year-old man was killed when the car he was riding in left Route 100 in Troy, rolled over several times and came to rest in a field.
Police identify the victim as Jamie Hisman of Troy. Police say Hisman was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, a 2002 Acura RSX, when it went out of control. Police believe speed was a factor on the crash, which happened at about 2:20 Sunday morning.
Four others in the car, including the driver, 19-year-old Raymond Santaw Jr. of Troy, were injured in the crash.
