Upstate NY woman, 94, dies after head-on crash
DRYDEN, N.Y.—State police say a 94-year-old woman died after the minivan she was in collided head-on with an SUV.
Troopers say 23-year-old Neil Sexton of Nashua, N.H., was driving the SUV when he veered into the oncoming lane and hit the minivan carrying Myra Moran Monday afternoon.
The crash happened in the town of Dryden, 33 miles northwest of Binghamton.
The driver and another passenger in the minivan were treated for minor injuries. Sexton was treated for cuts and two people in his SUV also had minor injuries.
The investigation of the wreck is continuing and no charges had been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.
