Record shows NH police shooter's calls for help
GREENLAND, N.H.—The man who shot and killed the Greenland, N.H., police chief in April had called police numerous times to report burglars or make other reports.
Seacoast Sunday ( http://bit.ly/MPIQO2) filed a Right to Know request with the Greenland Police Department following the April 12 shooting at Cullen Mutrie's home asking for reports on all previous calls to the house.
The results show Mutrie called police more than once to report burglars or prowlers, and had several more run-ins with police during domestic disturbances involving multiple girlfriends.
Mutrie, killed Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney and wounded others as members of an attorney general's drug task force tried to serve a search warrant at his home. Mutrie later killed a female companion and himself.
