BERLIN, N.H.—Speakers representing the fields of engineering and climatology are highlighting the second Women in Science and Technology Forum at New Hampshire's White Mountains Community College.
High school girls will meet, listen to and talk with professional women who have achieved successes in science, engineering, technology, and mathematical careers at Friday's event.
Panel discussions also will address such subjects as chemistry, environmental science and information technology.
The keynote speakers are Mary Albert, a professor of engineering and director of the Ice Drilling Program Office at Dartmouth College's engineering school; and Mary Stampone, the state climatologist, who teaches at the University of New Hampshire.
