MANCHESTER, N.H.—Police in New Hampshire say a 36-year-old convicted sex offender from Manchester is facing up to 35 years in prison after investigators found graphic images of child sex abuse on a computer taken to a pawn shop.

Police say Jonathan Perfetto was arrested Tuesday after the pawn shop owner alerted police to the images he found on the computer Dec. 24.

Manchester Police Lt. James Soucy tells WMUR-TV the images are "very disturbing."

After police searched the computer, Perfetto was charged Tuesday with five felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Police say Perfetto served seven years in prison after being convicted of 61 counts of possessing child pornography and other crimes.

The investigation is continuing.
