BARNSTEAD, N.H.—Firefighters have extinguished a three-alarm fire at a wood pellet plant in northern New Hampshire. No injuries have been reported.
Barnstead Fire Chief Mark Tetreault says the fire started Thursday around 4:30 p.m. at the Great Northern Pellet plant. He says blaze was started by a spark inside the plant.
There was no immediate word on how many workers were in the plant when the fire started.
Firefighters remained on the scene past 9 p.m.
