CONCORD, N.H.—Four New Hampshire companies will share $67,000 in the latest round of grants awarded by the state's Job Training Fund.
The fund distributes up to $1 million a year in matching grants to allow companies to train new workers or retrain longtime employees. November's recipients are Timken Aerospace in Lebanon, Telcordia of Manchester, Resource Laboratories in Portsmouth and Labsphere in North Sutton.
Gov. John Lynch says more than 7,900 workers have received training through the grant program since he reinstated it in late 2007. He called the program an important part of helping New Hampshire lead the region and nation in economic recovery.
