Bronze Plaque Stolen From Memorial Wall at Merrimack, N.H. DFW

A 100-pound bronze plaque was stolen from the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Merrimack, N.H., according to the Merrimack Police Department.

Police said the item was taken sometime in the last two weeks. The plaque measures 2 feet by 2 feet and is valued at $2,000, police said.

Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, WBZ reports.

Michael Theroux, the local post manager and state VFW's sergeant at arms, says it's a key piece of the building's honor wall. Police believe it was stolen sometime during the last two weeks.
