Diversity index of Boston, from census 2010

A methodology created by Phil Meyer of the University of North Carolina and Shawn McIntosh of USA TODAY, called the USA TODAY Diversity Index, measures diversity as "the probability that any two people chosen at random from a given area are of different races or ethnicity." It ranges from 100 (most diverse) to 0 (least).

NOTE: Percentages may not add up to 100 because Hispanic residents can report being of one or more races.
