Notable earthquakes in Mass. history

Rumbles from a 5.9 earthquake in Virginia shook the eastern seaboard just before 2 p.m. on Aug. 23, lasting several seconds in the Boston area. Though the epicenter wasn't in Massachusetts, we were curious about the earthquakes that have happened here.
