Setting the stage for a July 4th celebration

What's it take to stake out a prime tent spot on the Charles River for the July 4th party? Tom Caron, of Boston, photographed here with cut-outs of President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, worked in a team of three. One team arrived late Sunday night to reserve a tent spot, but found trouble with food. 'It's hard to get pizza delivered to the Esplanade at 1:30 a.m.,' Caron said. Caron awoke at dawn today to set-up the tent. A third team will bring food prior to the show tonight.
