Fallen state police officer honored

Judith Weddleton and her four sons departed Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton for the funeral service for their husband and father, State Police Sergeant Douglas Weddleton.

Weddleton, a 27-year veteran of the State Police, was killed Friday after he was struck by an alleged drunk driver during a traffic stop.
