Needham will officially welcome Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman home Aug. 26 with a parade and rally, town officials said Friday. The parade for the 18-year-old gold medalist will start at 2 p.m., proceeding along Highland Avenue to Needham Town Hall and then to Memorial Field for a rally, said Sandy Cincotta, a town support services manager. Cincotta said that specifics about the parade and rally will be settled next week, but that many people were already planning to come and wish Raisman well.
