Two dead in motorcycle crash in South Boston

Two people riding a motorcycle were killed early Monday morning when the vehicle crashed in South Boston, the Boston Police Department SAID. The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. near 1210 Columbia Road. A female victim was pronounced dead at the scene, said police spokesman David Estrada. A male victim riding with her was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Estrada said. No names or ages were available. Boston police are investigating the cause of the crash.
