Ed Siudut, who for many years was a probation officer at Worcester Superior Court and chief probation officer at Norfolk Superior Court, was a highly sought basketball prospect at Everett High School. The first 1,000-point scorer at Everett, he still ranks third all-time at the College of the Holy Cross with an average of 22.4 points per game. Drafted by San Francisco in the NBA and the New York Nets in the ABA, he played pro in Italy and joined the Peace Corps before working for the court system.
