BELCHERTOWN, Mass.—A Granby man has been charged with child pornography offenses after police seized two computers, two phones, and a thumb drive from his home.

Eric LaCoste was released on personal recognizance Tuesday after pleading not guilty in Eastern Hampshire District Court to charges of dissemination of obscene material to a minor and soliciting a child to pose in a state of nudity.

He was arrested at home on Monday following an investigation.

Prosecutors say he made Internet contact with three girls ages 13 and 14 who live in Granby, and posted "inappropriate comments" on the Facebook page of one of them. The girl's mother alerted police.

While free, the 29-year-old LaCoste is required to wear an electronic monitoring device, stay away from the alleged victims and their families.
