By BOB SALSBERG—Massachusetts is set to receive nearly $5 million to upgrade a bike path on the Cape Cod National Seashore and a trolley service in the Lowell National Park.

The grants from the Federal Transit Administration were announced Tuesday by members of the state's congressional delegation.

More than $3 million will go toward expanding and improving trolley service from Gallagher terminal to downtown Lowell.

The Nauset Bike Trail on the Cape will receive a total of $1.9 million in improvements designed to make it safer and more accessible.
