Bulger girlfriend again seeks to be freed on bail

The attorney for Catherine Greig said in court papers today that a federal magistrate judge was wrong when she ruled that the girlfriend of James “Whitey” Bulger should stay behind bars until her trial on charges of conspiring to harbor a fugitive. In the papers filed in US District Court in Boston, Greig attorney Kevin J. Reddington again argued that federal prosecutors have failed to show that’s Greig is a danger to the community or a flight risk.
