The Asian longhorned beetle-regulated area in Worcester County has been expanded to include all of Shrewsbury after eight infested trees were found there. The regulated area will expand 12 square miles to a total of 110 square miles, said the state Department of Conservation and Recreation. No wood may be allowed removed from that area. State and federal officials will hold a public meeting to provide information and answer questions at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Shrewsbury Town Hall.
