The collection of documents purports to offer the Mass Millions lottery ticket purchased 20 years ago worth $14.3 million, which was split among Bulger, associate Kevin Weeks, and two others, along with supporting documents from the lottery.
In 1995, the federal government seized much of Bulger’s share collected before he fled Boston.
At least two of the documents apparently bear the incarcerated mobster’s signature. Bulger did not appear in a photograph of the winners, which is also part of the eBay auction lot.
According to the eBay auction page, the documents were put up for sale by Jean Linskey, the former wife of one of the winners, Michael Linskey.
Stacey LaFleur, 36, of Whitman, whose husband’s stepfather is Michael Linskey, said she photographed the documents after her mother-in-law dug them out of a folder yesterday. Her photos are the ones posted on eBay, she said.
“They’re absolutely legitimate,’’ she said. “It’s amazing the condition they’re in.’’
