Convenience stores: Open at owner’s discretion.

Taverns, bars: Open at owner’s discretion.

Banks: Closed.

Stock market: Closed.

Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed.

Libraries: Closed.

Schools: Closed.

Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only.

MBTA: Subway, buses, and commuter rail service will operate on a Sunday schedule, except that commuter rail service on the Fairmount and Needham Lines will not operate. Inner-harbor ferry service from Charlestown to Long Wharf and Commuter Boat services from Hingham, Quincy, Hull and Logan Airport will not operate.

Boston traffic rules: Sunday parking rules apply.

Trash/recycling collection: Delay trash and recycling pickup one day if your pickup day is Thursday or Friday and you live in Allston, Brighton, Dorchester, East Boston, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Roslindale, West Roxbury, or South Boston. If you live in Jamaica Plain and your trash is picked up two times per week, do not delay.
